The Wide-Awake Princess, By: E. D. Baker

Written on December 30, 2010.

Summary: Annie is Sleeping Beauty's little sister. She's also magic-resistant (magic can't affect her). When her sister and kingdom fall asleep, she remains awake. She has to find the prince and save the day. With the help of her "friend" Liam (who she's starting to see as more than a friend), she travels through multiple fairy tales-Hansel and Gretel, The Frog Prince, The Princess and the Pea, Rapunzel, and several others-on her quest to save the day.

What I Thought: This book was really funny, a great read. I was so twitterpated over Liam and Annie's journey. I was so sad when I finished, because the book was so good! Annie was so brave, she didn't depend on anyone to save the day, she took the task into her own hands and saved the day. The way her condition helped and hindered her along the way was really cool. This is one of those books that you think about for the whole next week; the kind that you wish you could forget how it went, just so you could read it again. It was fantastic. :)

Undercover, By: Beth Kephart

On December 29th last year, I wrote this review.

Summary: Elisa writes love notes for the boys at her school to use. This works for her. Until Theo, Honors English 10, and a whole lot of change. Elisa learns to love, how to express herself, and how to ice skate. But most importantly, she learns how much words can do.

What I thought: This book frustrated me a bit. I was kind of annoyed with Elisa, for being so much of a pushover type. And Theo was obsessed with what that one insignificant girl thought. It really kind of made me feel bad for Elisa, because she got treated horribly. When I finished this book, I felt a lot better though.

The Game Plan

So basically lately I've been trying to write things about all the books I've read recently. And I decided I wanted to put them up online, so I can see them later on, I guess. Maybe eventually I'll put all of them up. But as of now, I'll just type them up when I can. :)

I'm not really sure why I'm writing this as if I'm writing to somebody. But that's okay, because if nobody else ever reads this, nobody else will know I'm insane like this. And if they do...then maybe I'm not completely insane.

Anyway, to all those imaginary people out there, Hello!!
